On larger turbines the manufacturer will not sell a turbine unless there is conclusive evidence that  a suitable wind pattern exists. This ensures that there are no future disagreements over performance given the sizable investment being made. We will offer costs on obtaining planning permission for anemometers on an individual basis as each planning authority require differing levels of detail. Indicative costs will start at  £250 plus plan lodging fee (payable to the local authority).

Wind monitoring may not be necessary on all sites if a reading of 6m/sec is available on NOABL.
On larger turbines we will offer a package cost to supply erect and monitor wind at your site.

We offer wind monitoring at various levels, below are costs for simple monitoring which would be adequate for installs up to 100kw:

1. Power predictor kit   £185.00
2. Bracket and pole to attach to a building or structure   £35.00
3. Installation   £240.00

Any specialist access requirements will be costed per install.
