WES develops, manufactures and sells two midsize wind turbines, the WES18 (80 kW) and the WES30 (250kW). The mechanical parts of both turbines has been developed in the early 80's of last century. The market for midsize wind turbines is a niche market.This niche market is not addressed by large wind turbine manufacturers or small wind turbine manufacturers.
