We offer a service to check the line and quality of available power in your area.

Under G83 which is 16 amps per phase we only have to notify  the  local district network operator within two weeks of installation ,the network can not make any demands on you to support any costs they have. G83 is for small wind turbines at about 5Kw, in some areas the network will accept up to 10kw on a G83 form.

Above G83 we have G59 this gives the network the scope to recover from you any costs associated with accepting the power you generate back onto the network. We try wherever possible unless it is financially beneficial to stay within the parameters of the existing network.

In each case the starting position is to check the line with the network operator for that we make a small charge of £350.00. This involves  filling in the first part of a G59 form  along with a location plan and site plan and send this to the network. They will respond with a site visit and a statement offering capacity on the network at your location.  We will then report the finding back to you.
